Cool, fresh and breezy this afternoon. Some rain over the weekend at Newcastle has put soft back into the going description for their fixture tomorrow but it will be drying out quickly again and should be fine for our two runners who have both been waiting for a sounder surface.
First up is Benny’s Jenny in the 15.30; she is yet to show much form since winning a point to point in Ireland but we have always thought three miles, fences, and decent ground is what she wants so we should learn a lot more tomorrow – Bruce rides and 7 run.

Ozzy Cosmo runs in the 16.30; he actually ran well enough last time on unsuitably soft ground at Ayr and has been waiting for things to dry up since, he is 16lb lower than when finishing a good 3rd over course and distance in February 25 so would have a decent chance if he can show any semblance of that form. Conor rides and 11 run.
