Happy Christmas!
Season’s Greetings everyone from a fittingly serene and peaceful Christmas Eve here at Kinneston. Tomorrow will be quiet but wheels will roll early on Boxing Day with Dubai Days heading to Aintree to run in the 3m handicap chase at 14.15. Bruce rides and 8 run. He seems in very good order and whilst he is rising 12yo he is showing no signs of his ability diminishing; a sharp three miles behind a decent gallop should suit him well so hopefully he can run a big race despite remaining quite high in the weights.
Dubai Days
At Musselburgh on Monday The G Wizard ran a tremendous race to finish a narrowly beaten 2nd, Beat the Retreat looked like he didn’t stay the three miles. After Aintree on Friday we hopw to be busy again at Catterick on Sunday, Kelso on Monday, Haydock on Tuesday, Musselburgh on Thursday, Ayr on Friday and Newcastle on Saturday. It will be interesting to see if any of the little changes we have made help the horses to start winning again – 14 seconds so far this season!
