Changeable weather, big swings in temperature and plenty of showers about. Musselburgh’s first jump fixture tomorrow and we have one runner, Maillot Blanc in the 3.20 with Dom on board, 11 run. He ran very well to be second at Kelso last time and if he can repeat that round this different type of track then he ought to be involved.

A mixed sort of day at Kelso last week – My Lady Elektra and The G Wizard both ran excellent races to be 2nd, as did Ballyfort and Lance les Des to be 3rd. Eloi du Puy unshipped Bruce when badly hampered by a faller, Orkney Blue ran well enough to be 6th on chasing debut, Gorvennec and Burning it Up were disappointing.
