Seems to be at Carlisle, lots of the southern trainers seem to like to comenup there and there were some smart horses in action yesterday, all the more satisfactory then for Papamoa to bravely win the feature handicap chase, a career best for him and a decent prize for his patient owners. On the same theme we bade farewell to Fleet Fox who came with us to Carlisle and then went south to see if the Cotswold air might unlock his potential, having bred and raised the horse I will be only too pleased if it does, perhaps a shade embarrassed if it turns out to be a simple fitness issue or something but good luck “Alfie”.
Evening flight to Dublin and early start this morning, breakfast in Bunclody and a day looking at horses, love this bit of the job, Lucy is at Sedgefield where she rides in the 1pm and 3pm
