A grey old week but dryish and quiet so all productive on the home front and three days racing in a row coming up, to assist our transport position I took the train to Yorkshire yesterday and picked up a two stall lorry from JSW Coachbuilders which was easy to drive home and will be a  big help logistically.

Faster work at Kinneston on Tuesday this week – Academy (Lucy) Spinning Away (Dan, Elmaatigra (Fran) and Four Fiddlers (Gemma)

We run three at Carlisle today where the ground will be soft, Cheatingsideoftwon (Lucy) in the 2.20, 9 run, Bertie Milan (Lucy) in the 2.55, 7 run and Little Glenshee in the 3.25, 11 run.  I suppose they would all have a little each way chance, Cheatingsideoftown (aka Eagle!) blew up badly at Perth last time and should be fitter, Bertie Milan has been off for a year and is still a little weak but in time he should prove better than this grade, Little Glenshee would have a chance if fully fit but I did groan when I saw her weight this morning.  Tomorrow it is on to Newcastle where we intend to run Issabella Gem, Academy and Isla Pearl Fisher – details to follow if I can manage the technology!
