A glorious 48 hours on the links at Royal Portrush only slightly spoilt by the antics of Presently Tipsy at Hexham on Sunday; this horse has plenty of ability but let’s her temperament get the better of her and won’t apply herself on the track, we will give her a nice long break now.

So today is the first day of National Hunt racing’s most prestigious “store” sale for un-raced 3 & 4 year olds.  Sadly I am not attending but rather unusually we are selling a cracking filly that we own in partnership with the McCarthys of the Beeches Stud, I saw this horse last year and would love the chance to train her – she has the looks to match her pedigree and should make up into a proper NH mare.

McGinty’s Dream – one of two full brothers to lot 191

We train her two as yet unraced full brothers who have plenty of ability and are very straightforward to deal with – this is her page.  A busy week back here trying to have everything ready for the horses coming back in but only nine being ridden, five or six of which I hope will be running at Perth’s “Game Fair” two day meeting next week.

Lot 149 is a full brother to this bumper winner Benny's Secret who we bought privately this time last year - love to train the brother as well!
