Rain overnight and a perfect autumn morning, lots of horses working hard and two declared runners at Perth tomorrow where I expect the going to be on the soft side of good and Lucy rides both.

Rossini’s Dancer appeared to enjoy skipping over the hurdles at Perth last time out

Firstly Rossini’s Dancer in the 4.30, 8 run, a good prize for this Betfair Series final and it has attracted a competitive field of improving horses, “Ross” ran well at the track to be 2nd last time out and theoretically could be well in at the weights as he races off a mark 17lb lower than his current chase mark, theoretically is the word though but hopefully he will run well. ¬†Then in the 6pm Clan Legend will line up so long as the ground is still on the soft side, it’s soon enough for him and whilst he is fit he will sharpen up for the run. ¬†Lucy also rides Queen’s Regatta in the 2.45 and is reunited with her old friend Red Tanber in the 5.30.
