So, at last, racing again, Perth tomorrow where the ground should be good having been well-watered.  We run Rossini’s Dancer in the opener at 2.20, 8 run and Lucy rides, he is theoretically “well- in” at these weights in relation to his chase form but not at all “well-in” in relation to his hurdle form.

I suspect he will run closer to the former than the latter and he won at this meeting last year on similar ground over the same distance, he is in great form and should be fit but the form of the Irish horse looks good, we will see… Then we run Makhzoon in the 3.25, 8 run and Lucy rides, despite also looking “well-in” he would prefer softer ground and a longer distance and he pulled up at the meeting last year, he should be fitter this time round.
