I don’t think that the current storm is intense enough to have been dignified with a name but the strong easterly wind accompanied by heavy rain started on Saturday morning and has been fairly unrelenting since, it’s due to last for another 48 hours, I suppose we should be grateful it isn’t snowing!

Grey Days in every way!

Grey Days in every way!  Wicklow Lad, Tipsy Dara and Little Glenshee yesterday

An excellent effort from Bracing yesterday to finish 2nd in a competitive handicap hurdle, a career best I am sure and she beat all the horses we thought we had to beat only to run into a well-handicapped horse returning to form.  She seems grand today and should progress again on a more galloping track, if we can find one that isn’t under water.  On that note Newcastle this week has already been abandoned, Wetherby looks like going the same way so we have made a couple of tentative entries at Doncaster on Friday – we may end up there but otherwise our next runners will be at Ayr on Monday where we have plenty of entries… weather permitting of course.
