Wintry sort of weather now, cold, some light frosts, squally sleet showers, unpleasant but nothing as extreme as was being forecast; ground at Hexham turned to heavy overnight so withdrew Another Mattie, bit frustrating but plenty of options for him next week, Lucy is there to ride Barra Boy in the 1.10 (oops it is after 1.10, it was 3rd!) and Stanley Bridge in the 3.40.

Busier than ever here, schooling on Monday and working on the all-weather yesterday and today, hopefully on the grass again later in the week, possible runners at Haydock on Friday then thankfully a bit more racing next week.
