Quieter weather today, forecast a bit unsettled but not bad at all for the time of year, thank goodness.  A wonderful day at Kelso yesterday with Landecker winning the feature race to record his fifth win at the track – really special.

Landecker yesterday – thanks to Dennis Penny

Off the Hook confirmed her Ayr form with an excellent 2nd, Figs Pride stepped up on her debut in the first division of the bumper and is shaping up into a lovely prospect for mares hurdles next season and Elvis Mail came 4th in the other division, he did well to finish where he did having been very free in the mid stages of the race, something we need to work on but he clearly has bags of ability.

Figs Pride

Bit of a busman’s holiday tomorrow with a trip to the Jedforest Point-to-Point, excellent news that they went to the effort of rescheduling the fixture from last week and there is certain to be a card of good competitive racing as we have been starved of racing “between the flags” recently – come along if you feel like a fun day out.

Left Back

We have three horses going down, each ridden by a different jockey…. Crawford rides Left Back who I expect to run well dropped back to 2m 4f, Kim has her first ride on our old favourite Rossini’s Dancer  and Kit rides Killer Crow.

Rossini’s Dancer

I think Kit also rides an old friend in the form of Always Tipsy and Crawford might be on board another ex Kinneston inmate Afterclass – home safe everyone please!
