Still cold but signs of things warming up at last, thank goodness, we need the grass to start growing as it’s time for a lot of the horses to have a proper break.

Three declared runners at Kelso tomorrow, the wet weekend should ensure there is still plenty of give in the ground, easy side of good I hope.  Heilan Rebel steps up in distance and wears a tongue tie on his handicap debut in the 3.25, he has been disappointing this winter but his best run to date was probably in the bumper on this card last year on similar ground so I hope we will see some improvement but the handicapper isn’t taking any chances on what we have seen so far, Lucy rides and 9 run.

Wicklow Gold (Stephen)

Wicklow Gold (Stephen) – fences tomorrow should be much more his thing.

We have two declared runners in the 4pm, Wicklow Gold (Stephen) and More Madness (Lucy) both are in good form but come into the race after disappointing runs and would be better off if it was a bit softer, it’s a good prize for the grade though and they will both prove well handicapped when things fall into place for them, never know it could be tomorrow, 11 run.  Lucy also rides Nicholas  T in the 5.35 and Kit rides Mr Shahady in the 5.05, it’s a good competitive late season/early season card depending on what you want to call it so come along to Kelso!
