Mild again now, showers around and tricky to tell what conditions will end up being like at Kelso tomorrow where the ground is presently good with good to soft places.  We are keen to have runners there so have declared to cover every eventuality but most will need the forecast drop of rain to actually line up;  Another Mattie (Kit) and Always Tipsy (Stephen) run in the 1.40, 10 run, the former should have a good chance at the weights but did disappoint making his seasonal debut in this race last year, Always Tipsy is making his hurdling debut and whilst he has schooled very well at home he should come on for the experience.

Ceilidh earlier this week, she has been in good form at home and looks well in herself.

Ceilidh runs in the 2.45, Peter Buchanan rides at 10 run, this mare has been disappointing on the track in relation to the talent she shows at home so I am hoping for a big improvement on what we seen so far.

Isla Pearl Fisher (Amy) and El Fontan (Emma)

Isla Pearl Fisher makes a rare appearance over hurdles in the 4.35, 11 run and Kit rides, though well in on his chase form he hasn’t proved as effective over the smaller obstacles in the past and he will improve for the run. Finally Northern Acres runs in the 5.40, Stephen rides and 12 run, he should have come on for his run a month ago, trip and ground should suit well, track a bit of a new one for him which could be a good thing.  Pictures from a sunny morning here on Tuesday.
