Mild today, a bit close but overcast, a work morning for most of the horses and the first dozen have all pleased on the all-weather, most especially perhaps Ceilidh, Presently Tipsy and Bracing – 3 young mares that appear to be improving.  A busy week in every way for Scotland and on the racing front Kelso hold their first twilight fixture, well supported considering the last minute changes to the card and prevailing fast ground, let’s hope they keep this as an extra fixture but it would be a shame if they drop a spring fixture next year in lieu.

Always Tipsy (Crawford)

We run Always Tipsy in the bumper at 7.05 assuming the ground is OK, 10 run, there are a few in the race with better form than him and a couple of “talking horses” but I am hopeful that he will progress from his performances earlier this year, Lucy rides and she also rides Dunbarton in the 5.35.
