A productive morning, some very fresh horses but all home in one piece, most working on the AW but Landecker, The Orange Rogue, Marlee Mourinho, Another Mattie and The Flaming Matron supplementing this with some technical jumping in the school followed by jumping half a dozen chase fences, all went well thankfully.  Rossini’s Dancer ran well enough at Carlisle yesterday; top weight over 3m 2f on soft ground at a stiff track was always going to be tough  even if he was dropping in grade, he faces the same problem as a lot of older horses, a lot of miles on the clock and still quite high in the handicap… Anyway, somewhat surprisingly we find ourselves heading back to Sedgefield tomorrow, the ground will be soft and Lucy rides our two runners starting with Always Tipsy in the 12.30, he shouldn’t mind the track (although most of ours seem to) and should appreciate the step up in trip, 7 run.  Then in the 3.30 Dutch Canyon is expected to improve on his seasonal debut, 6 run.  Umm, we have revamped the website so it will be interesting to see if this post works…
