So, another week has flown by, fine weather for the time of year, close and humid earlier in the week, a bit cooler now but a decent breeze and hopefully harvesting by Monday.

The Fife Farmer ponders whether or not to commence the Kinneston harvest

A progressive week for the horses, many of them stepping up to full work and they are responding well to the increase (behaving better apart from anything else), no runners until Perth on Monday the 9th and they will need a drop of rain; The Paddy Premium has come out of his Cartmel race fine, he never seems to run well there and we will see whether there are any other options for him.  New stables very nearly finished, as ever the final stages seem to be dragging out but hopefully they will be occupied by the end of next week, they need to be!    F13_9407_xlarge
