Cold and misty here today, not as cold as in the South and the grass gallops in good shape though not great for spectators!

Second lot on the way home this morning

A cracking run from Andhaar yesterday to be 3rd, he’s taken time to find his form again but grand to see him run so well now he has reached the veteran stage, with any luck he should be able to get his head in front again.

Royal Chatelier

Point-to-pointing tomorrow, the Jed Forest at Friars Haugh just outside Kelso, we hope to have two runners in the Men’s Open – Royal Chatelier ridden by Jamie and new recruit Top Cat Henry ridden by Kit, ground likely to be soft and Kit likely to have a few other rides.

Top Cat Henry

We will then be heading South on Monday, one runner at Newcastle then on to Doncaster Sales on Tuesday along with a runner or two at Wetherby that afternoon.
