Nothing like Remembrance Sunday to remind us of the triviality of the game we play and how fortunate we are, that and a trip to Old Trafford are sensible diversions at a time when the ups and downs of racing can all become a little too intense.  A bitterly disappointing debut at Kelso from Allforthelove, a lovely natured good looking horse we are left wondering if he has the aptitude for racing, but a good run from Jet Master, narrowly denied in the feature handicap chase, a high grade handicap was a big ask having never completed over fences and it nearly worked, hopefully his jumping will continue to improve.

Off to Carlisle today where the ground will be very soft and Lucy rides our 3 runners starting with Bertin Milan in the 12.45, 9 run, he should have a decent chance if he can cope with top weight in these conditions, then Little Glenshee makes her chasing debut in the 12.50, 4 run, a nice introduction to the larger obstacles is the main objective, then we run Wicklow Lad in the 3.30, 8 run, this looks competitive but it is a drop in class and he should enjoy the softer ground.
