Been cold at Cheltenham but a day to remember with the magnificent revival of the most wonderful horse, Sprinter Sacre, one of those “I was there moments” and grateful to be present for such a special moment. Back to reality tomorrow with a trip back up the road to Hexham where we have three runners on ground that is still very soft. In the 3.15 Kit rides The Bishop, 9 run, it is a competitive enough race for the grade but the track/trip and ground should suit and he is hopefully we’ll handicapped. In the 3.55 we run two horse by Dr Massini’s – More Madness (Kit) and Massini’s Lady (Stephen). Madness has never won over hurdles but is slipping down the weights and seems in good form, ML is having her second handicap having been a promising 5th over an inadequate trip last time, she should be able to build on that but I have a bit of a doubt re the ground….7 run.
