So weather settled down again after a rough, cold and wet weekend, forecast not bad for the time of year and turning milder.  Looks like the ground will be pretty testing at the meetings coming up now that it is drying out in the breeze having been heavy and soft with heavy places is the description for Ayr tomorrow where we have 4 declared runners.

McGinty’s Dream

The first of those is McGinty’s Dream in the 2.20, Grant Cockburn rides and 7 run, he won nicely last time and as a result is 14lb higher now, we’ve deliberately given him plenty of time since then and hopefully he can continue to progress now the penny has dropped.

Off the Hook

We have two mares making their hurdling debut in the 2.50, Off the Hook (Grant Cockburn) and Just Brooke (Tony Kelly), both have schooled nicely but are likely to be need further over hurdles in due course, 11 run.

Just Brooke

Finally we run Another Mattie (Kit) in the 3.20, he ran nicely last time to finish 3rd over an inadequate 2 miles 4f last time and should appreciate the return to 3 miles, 7 run.
