Milder today, damp and blowy, due to turn colder again tonight.  A day at Ayr yesterday that raised more questions than answers but was lit up by a terrific win from our stable stalwart Little Glenshee who stayed on strongly to grab the lead in the last few strides.  She is such a genuine mare that deserved to get her head in front again after a number of solid efforts in defeat, her jumping yesterday was as I always hoped it would be,  it has taken her a long time  to get over two heavy falls as a novice and I would like to think she can progress from here especially when stepped back up in trip.1495190_563287640408671_956962584_o  Earlier in the day McGinty’s Dream was far too headstrong, Farewelltocheyenne ran well enough on ground that would not be for him, Spinning Away couldn’t go on the ground at all, Celestino appeared to enjoy himself out in front but folded tamely when challenged, Calivigny travelled and jumped well for a long way but stopped quickly as if something was amiss and then at the end of the day More Madness put up a pretty good effort to finish 4th in the long distance chase.  Lucy is at Catterick today to ride Leading Score in the 2.30, no runners from here until Kelso on Saturday, one of my favourite days of the year…
