Mild, damp, drizzly today but heavier rain over in the West and they are planning a 7.30 am inspection at Ayr tomorrow where the ground is already heavy.  We will hopefully have 3 runners, Allforthelove makes his handicap debut in the 3.25, 7 run and Lucy rides, this race will be a real slog and I worry that he won’t handle quite such an extreme test at this stage in his career.  Then we run Wicklow Lad (Kit) and Rossini’s Dancer (Lucy) in the 4.35, 6 run; Wicklow is in great form and would have bypassed this for the Kim Muir at Cheltenham had conditions not looked like drying up down there, he will love the ground but it will be his 3rd run in 24 days in these extreme conditions, whilst Rosinni’s has form on heavy his best runs recently have been on much better ground.
