..on the blogging front, no NH racing up here until Perth in two weeks so I shall probably give everyone a break, busy here now with all the horses doing a lot of steady work, upping the feed all the time, building them up, laying the foundations for the season ahead.  Not much fast work for now; some jumping in the school, no schooling over hurdles and fences, doing some detailed work on the turf there which will hopefully pay dividends but will need to stay off until next month.  A bit cooler but fine weather with decent westerly breeze and the odd shower.  About to start a trial of some training software called Equinity, we have monitored heart rates in a variety of ways for a while but this ties it all in quite nicely and I love the idea that the data will be cloud based and I will be able to look at it wherever I am, applying lessons learnt from human based sport science to horses has to make sense.  Doncaster Sales this week, something for everyone there, and Ladies Night at Carlisle tomorrow, Lucy is riding Amenable in the 6.15, Miss Macnamara in the 6.45, Planetex in the 7.15, Hot Rod Mamma in the 8.15 and The Lodge Road in the 8.45, the Ronan Keating Handicap, no doubt he will be presenting the trophies as he is playing after racing, sounds fun…
