Cool all week here and wet today as well, another very busy week both in the yard and in the office as we bed down various new systems that will aid efficiency going forward as a bigger operation.  An appreciated afternoon in the office but disappointing to have to spend 18 minutes on the telephone persuading Mastercard to accept some money in order to reactivate my credit card and then a bizarre lengthy conversation with the Office for National Statistics asking a series of irrelevant  questions about the business activities of one of our racing partnerships; a waste of my time, his time and our money – sadly representative of the times we live in.  Grumble over,  by and large things have been going very well and big excitement today being entries closing for first day of Perth September meeting, we have a few with options over both days but trying to interpret the weather forecast is not easy and one has to feel desperately sorry for Ayr who have today lost the first day of The Western Meeting, their flagship flat fixture. A few pics fromyesterday…..
